The Senior Social Media Strategist/Consultant focuses on client strategy development as it relates to social media with a primary focus on delivering to overall business goals through paid and organic social. This team member also is responsible for a high standard of social media execution, setting and developing best practices, mentorship of junior social team members and is an overall leader of the team alongside the Director of Social Media. This position will require focus on revenue growth through add-on opportunities with current clients, support with new business opportunities and positive and energizing contribution to the social media team and overall Fathom culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation of paid and organic social media strategy for clients understanding not only social media goals, but also more importantly overall marketing goals and client business goals
  • Execute social media activities; including content calendars, social media advertising campaigns, scheduling and publishing content, social media listening reports, etc. driven from the client’s goals and the overall client strategy the entire account team is working on. Social networks include but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
  • Connecting social media results and data analysis to business goals in order to innovate leading edge solutions for the client
  • Conduct social media audits understanding the best ways to optimize social media presence and paid social advertising strategies
  • Develop testing plan strategies to drive continual optimization towards business goals and meeting or exceeding social media channel KPIs
  • Mentorship of social media specialists and strategists
  • Ongoing responsibility to learn and master new networks, social advertising platforms, tactics and develop coordinating best practices in social media.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, Advertising or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the social media space, with sophisticated experience in paid social advertising
  • Demonstrated paid and organic social and digital communications expertise and driving results as it relates to ROI and business goals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills to C-suite level executives
  • Experience with website tracking software such as Omniture or Google Analytics
  • Demonstrated teamwork and leadership in previous positions
  • Ability to make innovative, strategic and thoughtful decisions quickly
  • High energy, optimistic, with a proactive attitude; a self-starter and a go-getter
  • Strong ability to multi-task and execute against multiple deadlines
  • Experience in conducting social media listening research and reporting on how it relates to business goals
  • Additional experience with social media app development tools is appreciated

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within healthcare, education, and/or ecommerce industries
  • Relationships with key players in the social space, including but not limited to; Facebook, LinkedIn and Snapchat, etc.
